Segala has a similar vision using FOAF (keeping in the RDF spirit of things) but OpenID is an equally valid method (maybe even more so). In fact, this type of functionality is included in our search thresher development road map so hopefully we'll be able to demonstrate it before too long. Glad we’ve managed to get another content label convert :)
